This depends on your environment. During testing, pet owners and parents found covers essential. If you live alone without pets and have a dedicated puzzle space, covers are less critical but still provide dust protection. Consider covers as inexpensive insurance against disrupted puzzles.
Can I apply glue directly to puzzle boards?
The waterproof ABS surface allows you to apply glue directly on the board, making it easy to preserve your completed puzzle. However, this applies specifically to plastic surfaces. We don’t recommend applying glue to felt-covered boards, as it may damage the fabric. For wooden boards, place parchment paper underneath if you plan to glue your puzzle.
How do I transport a puzzle board with an in-progress puzzle?
Use the protective cover, then move the board carefully while keeping it level. During transport testing, we found that properly secured boards with covers successfully preserved even 90% complete puzzles through multiple room changes. For longer distances, consider whether the puzzle’s progress justifies the transport risk.
